The young Russian-born conductor Andrey Boreyko lives in Hamburg. Yarlung knew him first through his regular guest conducting of the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Walt Disney Concert Hall. Andrey also serves as music director of the prestigious Orchestre National de Belgique in Brussels and the Naples Philharmonic. Our first recording with Maestro Boreyko celebrates Los Angeles Philharmonic principal concertmaster Martin Chalifour and the orchestra performing Lutosławski’s violin concerto Chain 2.
